| 1. A motor comprising:
a motor enclosure;
a motor winding assembly configured for placement within said motor enclosure;
a motor control unit comprising a chassis and components, said chassis configured to engage an end of said motor enclosure;
and
a mid shield configured for placement within said motor enclosure between said motor control unit and said motor winding assembly,
said mid shield configured such that said components of said motor control unit extend into said motor enclosure and into
at least one open space formed in said mid shield, and further configured to align said motor control unit and said motor
winding assembly.
