17. A method of setting an image forming apparatus having: a scanner which reads an image of a draft; a printer which prints the image on an image forming medium; an icon display unit; an image direction display unit; a display unit which displays a setting screen of photocopy processing; and an operation unit which inputs setting information on the photocopy processing, the method comprising:
setting the photocopy processing in accordance with the setting information input by the operation unit;
displaying, in a specific display area in the setting screen, a draft graphical image indicating a whole draft, and a finished graphical image obtained by superimposing a graphical image indicating an area of the draft image onto a graphical image indicating the whole image forming medium on the basis of a printing start position, based on set contents set by a setting unit;
displaying by the icon display unit a draft setting key for designating an image direction of the draft selectable by the operation unit of the setting screen;
displaying by the image direction display unit information indicating an image direction on the draft graphical image with the information indicating an image direction on the finished graphical image in a case where an image direction of a draft is designated by the draft setting key; and
reading the draft image by the scanner, and printing the image read by the scanner on the image forming medium by the printer, based on the set contents set by the setting unit.
