| 1. A semiconductor device comprising:
a signal acquisition unit comprising a unit component comprising a charge generation unit for generating signal charge in
response to incident electromagnetic waves, a charge accumulation unit for accumulating the signal charge generated by the
charge generation unit, a signal generation unit for generating a signal in accordance with the signal charge accumulated
in the charge accumulation unit, and a reset unit for resetting the charge accumulation unit; and
a driving control unit for using control pulses to cause the charge accumulation unit to go to a reset level so as to increase
an amount of charge to be accumulated in the charge accumulation unit.
