| 1. A photoelectric conversion apparatus in which photo electric conversion elements receive light reflected from an original
illuminated by a light source, signals stored in the photoelectric conversion elements are amplified and the amplified signals
are output as image signals in a time-series fashion, the photoelectric conversion apparatus comprising:
power supply stop means for stopping supplying power to a part of the photoelectric conversion apparatus; and
output means for performing, in parallel, data reading from the part of the photoelectric conversion apparatus, to which power
supply is stopped and data reading from other part of the photoelectric conversion apparatus, to which power supply is not
stopped,
wherein, when power supply to the part of the photoelectric conversion apparatus is not stopped by the power supply stop means,
the output means performs, in parallel, data reading from the part of the photoelectric conversion apparatus and data reading
from the other part of the photoelectric conversion apparatus.
