rotating the disc using the spindle; and
introducing a gas into a gap between the first surface of the shroud and the first surface of the disc; and
testing a head gimbal assembly on an opposing second surface of the disc;
wherein the placing includes positioning the first surface of the shroud as close as possible to the first surface of the
disc without making contact between the first surface of the shroud and the first surface of the disc; and
wherein the testing includes dynamic electrical testing of the head gimbal assembly on the bottom surface of the disc.
