1. An X-ray CT apparatus comprising:
a drum type rotation frame including an annular member extending along a rotation axis and a rib member projected from an inner surface of the annular member so as to be substantially perpendicular to the rotation axis;
an X-ray source, supportably coupled to the rib member, for irradiating X-ray beams onto an object and an X-ray detector provided on the rib member opposite the X-ray source about the rotation axis so as to face the X-ray source, the X-ray source being disposed between the rotation axis and the rib member;
a bearing unit surrounding an outer surface of the drum type rotation frame in a ring-like configuration; and
a drum type fixed frame configured to rotatably support the drum type rotation frame through the bearing unit.
