1. A sanitary napkin comprising a topsheet, backsheet, and absorbent core, said absorbent core between said topsheet and said backsheet, said topsheet comprising a first precursor web and a second precursor web, wherein said first precursor web is a fibrous web and said second precursor web is a fibrous nonwoven, wherein said topsheet further comprises discrete tufts of fibrous material from said first precursor web or said second precursor web, wherein said tufts comprise a plurality of looped fibers, wherein said topsheet comprises two sides, wherein both sides of said topsheet are substantially covered by fibers from only one of said precursor webs.
