1. A method for inhibiting access to data stored in a memory array, the method comprising:
receiving a predetermined sequence of commands;
in response to receiving the predetermined sequence of commands, converting a first voltage signal to a second voltage signal sufficient to physically damage the memory array;
isolating control circuitry from the second voltage signal;
providing the second voltage signal to the memory array, and
erasing a plurality of memory devices in parallel based on the predetermined sequence of commands.
