| 1. A method of producing a compound represented by formula (IV), comprising: <Step 1>, <Step 2>, and <Step 3-1>, each described
below:
<Step 1> subjecting a compound represented by formula (I) to fluorination, to obtain a compound represented by formula (II);
<Step 2> subjecting the compound represented by formula (II) to at least one of thermal decomposition and hydrolysis, to obtain
a compound represented by formula (III-A) or (III-B); and
<Step 3-1> subjecting the compound represented by formula (III-A) or (III-B) to thermal decomposition, to obtain the compound
represented by formula (IV):
![]() wherein, in formula (I), R1 and R2, which are the same or different from each other, each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl
group, a cycloalkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group, an aryl group, or an alkoxycarbonyl group, or R1 and R2 may bond together to form a ring; X1 represents a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom; and Y represents an alkoxycarbonyl group, or —CH2OCOR3, in which R3 represents an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, or an aryl group;
![]() wherein, in formula (II), R1F and R2F, which are the same or different from each other, each independently represent a halogen atom, a fluorine-containing alkyl
group, a fluorine-containing cycloalkyl group, or a fluorine-containing alkoxy group, or R1F and R2F may bond together to form a ring; X1F represents a halogen atom; YF represents a fluorine-containing alkoxycarbonyl group, or —CF2OCOR3F, in which R3F represents a fluorine-containing alkyl group or a fluorine-containing cycloalkyl group; and when X1, Y, R1 and R2 in formula (I) do not change before and after the <Step 1>, X1F, YF, R1F and R2F have the same meanings as X1, Y, R1 and R2 in formula (I), respectively;
![]() wherein, in formula (III-A), X1F, R1F and R2F have the same meanings as those in formula (II), respectively; X1F represents a halogen atom; R1F and R2F, which are the same or different from each other, each independently represent a halogen atom, a fluorine-containing alkyl
group, a fluorine-containing cycloalkyl group, or a fluorine-containing alkoxy group, or R1F and R2F may bond together to form a ring; and X2F represents a halogen atom;
![]() wherein, in formula (III-B), X1F, R1F and R2F have the same meanings as those in formula (II), respectively; X1F represents a halogen atom; R1F and R2F, which are the same or different from each other, each independently represent a halogen atom, a fluorine-containing alkyl
group, a fluorine-containing cycloalkyl group, or a fluorine-containing alkoxy group, or R1F and R2F may bond together to form a ring; and M represents a metal compound;
![]() wherein, in formula (IV), R1F and R2F have the same meanings as those in formula (II), respectively, and R1F and R2F, which are the same or different from each other, each independently represent a halogen atom, a fluorine-containing alkyl
