| 1. A method for attaching a spout to a container having an open-ended top wit a hole formed therein for receiving a spout,
said method comprising the steps of:
providing a mandrel;
situating a spout on said mandrel;
moving said mandrel and said spout in a single arc motion from the location where said spout was situated on said mandrel
to a location where said spout is inserted through said hole of said container;
attaching said spout to said container; and
withdrawing said mandrel from said spout.
