| 1. An elevator, comprising:
at least one of a plurality of hoisting machines having motors having rotary shafts having different external diameters, a
plurality of bosses each mounted on a respective one of said rotary shaft and each having the same external diameter, and
a common manually operated handle which may be fixed to each of said bosses, wherein the common manually operated handle is
adapted to manually rotate the rotary shafts when the manually operated handle is fitted on any one of said bosses.
