| 1. A method for treating yarn, comprising:
conveying yarn through a yarn duct defined by a texturing nozzle;
supplying compressed air into the yarn duct substantially in a conveying direction of the yarn, wherein the compressed air
is supplied at a pressure of more than 4 bar and at an angle of more than 48 degrees with respect to a longitudinal axis of
the yarn duct,
wherein an outlet portion of the yarn duct conically widens at an angle of more than about 10 degrees with respect to the
longitudinal axis of the yarn duct so as to generate a supersonic flow.
