| 1. A device for preparing and consuming a beverage flavored by solid particles comprising:
a straw, the straw characterized by a side wall, the straw having at least one aperture in the side wall, the straw further
characterized by a proximal end and a distal end; and
a sieve coupled to the straw nearer to the distal end than to the proximal end, such that the at least one aperture in the
side wall of the straw is positioned between the sieve and the proximal end of the straw.
