| 1. A method comprising:
receiving by a mobile station from a network a determination of at least one active measurement report trigger selected from
a group of measurement report triggers for triggering transmission of a measurement report, wherein at least one measurement
report trigger of the group comprises a base station specific offset value,
maintaining at the mobile station a list of base stations for which measurement reports are desired by the network for handover
decisions concerning the mobile station;
monitoring at the mobile station properties of a plurality of radio signals received from respective base stations,
generating at the mobile station a measurement report comprising information about the monitored radio signals of the respective
base stations when the at least one active trigger is met; and
sending the measurement report to the network.
