1. A method for providing cold plate stability, comprising:
placing the cold plate in contact with a module;
applying an actuation load to the cold plate via a spring plate assembly, the spring plate assembly comprising a spring plate and a spring pin moveable in a slot of the spring plate assembly to maintain the actuation load; and
securing the spring pin of the spring plate assembly to at least one load arm, the secured spring plate assembly translating the actuation load to the module via the cold plate.
