| 1. A polarizing film comprising:
a first protecting layer;
a polarizing layer formed on the first protecting layer; and
a second protecting layer formed on the polarizing layer, the second protecting layer having a retardation value Rth of about
110 nm to about 200 nm along a direction corresponding to a thickness of the second protecting layer (thickness-wise direction),
wherein the retardation value Rth along a thickness-wise direction is expressed by the following equation:
Rth=d(nx−nz),
wherein ‘d’ represents the thickness of the second protecting layer, nx represents a refractive index along an x-direction, and nz represents a refractive index along a z-direction.
