| 1. A golf ball comprising:
a core;
a mantle layer disposed on the core; and
a cover layer disposed on the mantle layer, the cover layer having an outer surface and defining a plurality of deep depressions
along the outer surface of the cover layer in a range of 30 to 60 degrees from the equator of the golf ball in both hemispheres
of the golf ball, each of the plurality of deep depressions extending through the cover layer.
