| 12. A data recording apparatus for recording information data on a recording medium, comprising
a data recording speed detecting device that detects a data recording speed at which the information data is recorded on the
recording medium;
a power-supply remaining quantity detecting device that detects a remaining quantity of a power supply for supplying power
to the data recording apparatus;
an expected driving time period detecting device that detects an expected driving time period for which the data recording
apparatus can be driven, based on the detected remaining quantity of the power supply;
a recordable data quantity calculating device that calculates a quantity of data recordable on the recording medium based
on the detected data recording speed and the detected expected driving time period; and
a data size changing device that changes a quantity of the information data to be recorded on the recording medium based on
the detected recordable quantity of data.
