| 1. A ferrule holder assembly for an optical-fiber-end-face grinding apparatus having a grinding board, comprising:
a ferrule holder board provided in parallel with the grinding board;
a plurality of ferrule sleeves provided at said ferrule holder board for receiving and supporting a plurality of optical fiber
ferrules having tips, the tips thereof confronting the grinding board;
a plurality of adapters on the ferrule holder board, each adapter retaining an optical fiber ferrule and supporting said optical
fiber ferrule in a state in which each optical fiber ferrule is inserted into a respective ferrule sleeve; and
a plurality of resilient urging members, each urging member urging a respective adapter in a direction toward said grinding
board relative to said ferrule holder board, each urging member urging the respective adapter independently of other urging
members such that the pressures of the tips of all said ferrules on the grinding board are substantially the same.
