| 1. An optical waveguide device, comprising:
an optical waveguide part, comprising a lower cladding layer, a core layer, and an upper cladding layer; and
a photon device mounting part, comprising a pedestal block, a mask consisting of a thin film formed on said pedestal block,
and a photonic device contacting said mask,
wherein said upper cladding layer comprises a first layer and a second layer, and said pedestal block consists of said second
layer.
