| 24. A data transmitter comprising:
a data encoding unit that is configured to encode data into DC balance encoded data;
a preamble code generator that is configured to generate a preamble of dummy data that is configured to provide an intermediate
number of bits of a given logic value that is at least one bit of the given logic value but less than a maximum number of
bits of the given logic value in the DC balance encoded data;
a multiplexer that is responsive to the data encoding unit and to the preamble code generator and that is configured to provide
the preamble of dummy data followed by the DC balance encoded data; and
an output driver that is responsive to the multiplexer and is configured to transmit the preamble of dummy data followed by
the DC balance encoded data.
