| 1. A method for producing a slag cement comprising the steps of:
providing a supply of granulated blast furnace slag;
providing a supply of limestone;
combining the granulated blast furnace slag and limestone in a ratio of less than about 15% by weight limestone to granulated
blast furnace slag; and
grinding the granulated blast furnace slag and limestone to cement fineness to produce a slag cement consisting essentially
of granulated blast furnace slag and limestone.
