1. An agent for the oxidative dyeing of keratin fibers based on a developer substance/coupler substance combination, comprising
at least one m-aminophenol derivative of general formula (I), or its physiologically compatible, water-soluble salt,
 R1 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, a C1-C6 alkyl group, C2-C4 hydroxyalkyl group, a C3-C4 dihydroxyalkyl
group, a C1-C4 alkoxy group or a halogen atom; and
R2 is selected from the group consisting of a hydroxy group, a carboxylic group, an aminocarbonylgroup or a hydroxymethyl
group.
