| 1. A fuel economy control system for an alternative fuel vehicle comprising:
a fuel economy control module including associated fuel economy control logic that operates to allow a vehicle to operate
in a fuel economy mode based on a desired fuel economy preference selected by a user, said alternative fuel vehicle selected
from the group consisting of a hybrid electric vehicle and a fuel cell vehicle.
