| 1. A method for allocating transmission power, comprising:
allocating a power for transmitting a signal over at least one of a plurality of channels based on a channel strength threshold
and an estimated channel strength for the at least one channel, the channel strength threshold being based on estimated channel
strengths for the plurality of channels.
