1. A method of inhibiting a binding of a chemokine to a chemokine receptor, wherein said chemokine is selected from the group consisting of MCP-1 (monocyte chemotactic protein-1) and MIG (monokine induced by gamma interferon), the method comprising contacting the chemokine with an effective amount of a peptide comprising the amino acid sequence as set forth in SEQ ID NO:76.
