selecting a file to be compressed, based on a file type, that is capable of executing dynamically scripted content;
creating a copy of the file, the copied file comprising at least one start point and at least one end point, the copy created to preserve the original files for reverse compatibility;
compressing data in place within the start point and the end point based on the dynamically executed scripted content, at a server, wherein the compressed data is a static HTML portion of the file; and
dynamically creating a new file, of client data downloaded from the server, comprising the compressed data and uncompressed data, wherein the uncompressed data provides server side compatibility for dynamic content scripting, the dynamically created new file and the selected file stored on the server, the dynamically created new file transmitted from the server to a client.
