a first port coupled to and accessible by a first module;
a second port coupled to and accessible by a second module; and
a non-volatile memory comprising: a first memory portion writable by the first port and write protected from the second port,
a second memory portion writable by the second port and write protected from the first port, and a third memory portion writable
by both the first port and the second port.
