| 1. A disposable cleaning substrate comprising:
a bottom layer for contacting a surface to be cleaned and having a lower surface; and
an absorbent layer in direct fluid communication with said bottom layer,
wherein said bottom layer is transparent and comprises a first layer made of a hydrophilic material connected to a second
layer made of a hydrophobic material.
