| 1. An authentication information processing method, comprising:
accepting an entry of authentication information;
comparing the accepted authentication information with previously set authentication information;
judging a degree of error between the accepted authentication information and the previously set authentication information
based on a result of the comparison between the accepted authentication information and the previously set authentication
information; and
determining a number of possible re-entries of the authentication information and an expiration date of the authentication
information in accordance with the judged degree of error.
