| 1. A fuser member, for fixing a developed image to a copy substrate, comprising:
a substrate;
an outer layer comprising a fluoroelastomer and a first filler, wherein said first filler has a particle size of 0.3 microns
or less;
wherein the first filler is selected from the group consisting of boron carbide, tungsten carbide, and combinations thereof;
and
wherein the fluoroelastomer is a tetrapolymer of vinylidenefluoride, hexafluoropropylene, tetrafluoroethylene, and a cure
site monomer; and
an intermediate layer located between the substrate and the outer layer, the intermediate layer comprising a fluoropolymer,
an adhesive, and a second filler, the second filler having a particle size of 0.3 microns or less and being selected from
the group consisting of boron carbide, tungsten carbide, and combinations thereof.
