| 1. A brake control device, comprising:
a control unit that determines a braking request by a driver occurred when a brake-on determination condition is satisfied
and determines a braking cancellation occurred when a brake-off determination condition is satisfied,
wherein the control unit determines whether the brake-on determination condition is satisfied by performing a first determination
that determines whether the braking request occurred based on a first plurality of input signals, and by performing a second
determination that determines whether the braking request occurred based on a second plurality of input signals, and
wherein the control unit determines whether the brake-off determination condition is satisfied by performing a third determination
that determines whether the braking cancellation occurred based on a third plurality of input signals, and by performing a
fourth determination that determines whether the braking cancellation has occurred based on a fourth plurality of input signals.
