| 1. A drinking tube or straw comprising:
a tubular structure defining a lumen through which a liquid can pass, wherein at least a portion of the tubular structure
comprises a first porous sintered matrix having a first surface and a second surface and wherein the porous sintered matrix
allows for the passage of vapor from the liquid within the lumen of the tubular structure such that pervaporation or evaporation
of the vapor cools the liquid within the lumen of the tubular structure.
