1. A data storage system, comprising:
a plurality of disk storage devices for storing data; and
a storage controller which is connected to said plurality of disk storage devices via transmission paths for controlling access to said disk storage devices according to an access instruction from a host,
wherein said storage controller comprises:
a memory for storing write data attached to a write command; and
a controller for updating an ID value for each write command, inserting the ID value in a part or all of said write data, and writing the data to a disk of said disk storage device, and
wherein said controller reads a part or all of said write data from said write-completed disk storage device according to said write completion of said disk storage device, stores the data to said memory, and compares the ID value in said read data and said inserted ID value, to detect a write miss of said disk storage device.
