The Biotechnology
Chemical Pharmaceutical Customer Partnership
is designed and developed to be informal face-to-face meetings with
small groups of biotech/chemical/pharmaceutical patent customers to
gain their insights as to how well U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
initiatives are working and how these initiatives affect our customers.
The most recent quarterly meeting for the Biotech Chemical Pharmaceutical
Customer Partnership meeting was held on November 15, 2001 at the U.S.
Patent and Trademark Office. The Biotechnology Chemical Pharmaceutical
Customer Partnership is designed and developed to be informal face-to-face
meetings with small groups of biotech/chemical/pharmaceutical patent
customers to gain their insights as to how well U.S. Patent and Trademark
Office initiatives are working and how these initiatives affect our
customers. During these meetings, individual customer participants provide
TC 1600 with general commentary, suggestions, raw data and feedback
which is important to the Technology Center's efforts to continuously
improve the quality of biotech patent products and services. TC 1600
also informs its customers of PTO goals, issues, resources and processes
and seeks to identify better ways of working with its customers to meet
mutual needs. These customer partnership groups are formed with full
recognition of the USPTO’s responsibility under the Federal Advisory
Committee Act (FACA), and that these customer partnership groups are
not established as FACA compliant committees.
We value our customers
in obtaining feedback from individual participants is important in our
efforts to continuously improve the quality of our products and services.
Your willing participation is helpful in providing us with insights
and experiences in this informal process to assist us.
