I am writing in support of the proposed rule change to 37 CFR 1.78(a)(2)(ii) to
eliminate the petition and surcharge to correct the claim to benefit of a
prior-filed nonprovisional applicationor international application designating
the US elsewhere but not in the manner specified in 1.78(a)(2)(i).
