On or prior to September 29, 2009, the organizations and persons listed below have submitted comments in response to the notice titled Request for Comments on Interim Examination Instructions for Evaluating Patent Subject Matter Eligibility, published in the Federal Register at 74 Fed. Reg. 47780 (September 17, 2009). The USPTO is extending the comment period to ensure that members of the public have sufficient opportunity to submit comments on the InterimPatent Subject Matter Eligibility Examination instructions, and the new comment period will end 30 days from the publication of a new notice in the Federal Register.

It is hoped that the public will review this list of comments submitted on or prior to September 29, 2009, to determine if it is complete. If any person or organization has submitted comments on or prior to September 29, 2009, but it is not included in this listing, please submit the comment by electronic mail message to caroline.dennison@uspto.gov, or contact Caroline Dennison, by telephone at (571) 272-7729.
