• Suspension of action:

• 37 CFR 1.103(b) provides for a three-month suspension of action after filing a CPA

• 37 CFR 1.103(c) provides for a three-month suspension of action after filing a RCE

  • must still provide a reply to last Office action

• Any patent term adjustment will be reduced by period of suspension
