Dear Sir or Madam:

This letter responds to Ms. Boone's complaint, which was filed with the Patent and Trademark Office.

Please be advised that Ms. Boone's first issue is that since our company offered to pay a portion of the manufacturing costs, and this amounted to "cheating". We don't believe her conclusion is accurate. The fact that she negotiated a better price with Mr. Williams does not mean she would receive anything less. In actuality, she would be receiving the same services at a better price.

Next, without making any further inquiries, Ms. Boone concludes that we are not a good company base upon certain provisions in our contract. Please note neither Ms. Boone nor her attorney contacted us to discuss our contract. If they had contacted us, they would have learned our company spares no expense to protect the confidentiality of our client's inventions. For instance, we require all interested third parties to sign a nondisclosure agreement and hire attorneys to prepare licensing agreements and file patents.

In any event, we note Ms. Boone purchased a research portfolio from us in April 2004. Since that time, she neither requested a refund nor expressed any complaints about our services. If she had contacted us directly, we would have given her a refund. In any even, we are sending her a refund check this week.

Very truly yours,
/s/   Leslie Hecker
