Invention promotion services offered to be performed: Invention Research Portfolio

The services offered by Invention Technologies were not as stated in their literature. After paying a fee of $910, I was promised and Invention Research Portfolio, which was to include a marketing and development strategy specific to my product. My complaint is that the report I received lacked the stated information that I paid for. The report was primarily composed of information that I provided and "broiler plate" information that was not specific to my invention. I sent a letter to the company dated 11-15-2004 outlining the discrepancies that I found in the report along with a list of the omitted information that I expected to see per my previous telephone conversations with project manager . I requested that information be sent to me but to date, I have not received either the written response nor has anyone returned my phone calls.

Based on my conversations, written materials provided to me by the firm and lack of communication, I feel that Invention Technologies is not a reputable company and that they did not fulfill their obligation of presenting me with a complete and specific Invention Research Portfolio. For these reasons, I am filing this complaint and requesting a full investigation of the company.

I currently do not have a working relationship with the company because the services promised were not delivered. I am requesting that my entire disclosure agreement not be compromised in any way due to this complaint.
