COMPLAINT REGARDING INVENTION PROMOTERDATE OF CORRESPONDENCE: September 21, 2005 Name of the Invention Promotion Company: Inventors' Publishing & Research Invention Promoter's Address: 60 Spear St., 10th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94105 Complainant's Name: Francis J. Davison Complainant's Address: 23 Pearl Ave., Johnson City, NY 13790 Customer's Name: WHAT IS YOUR COMPLAINT?Name of mass media invention promoter advertised in: Direct mail, telephone solicitation Invention promotion services offered to be performed: $27,000 worth of marketing and advertising and contacting manufacturers, exhibits at tradeshows, online presence. Explanation of complaint between customer and invention promoter: Promoter promised "conceptual renderings" of my invention so it would look like a finished product for the "brochure". Instead, they photographed my prototype and used text from the patent as a description. It turned out to be a single page "brochure" that looked like a grade school kid did as a homework assignment. They offered no proof or explanation of where the money was spent and no proof of how my invention was "represented" at a trade show. They contacted inappropriate manufacturers and finally admitted in an e-mail that they did a lousy job!! That was the last I heard from them. Signed: /s/ Francis J. Davison Date: September 21, 2005 |
