COMPLAINT REGARDING INVENTION PROMOTERDATE OF CORRESPONDENCE: November 25, 2005Name of the Invention Promotion Company: Davisons Design & Development, Inc. Invention Promoter's Address: RIDC Park, 595 Alpha Dr., Pittsburgh, PA 15238-2911 Complainant's Name: Deborah Marin Complainant's Address: 8053 Lexington Park Dr., Colorado Springs, CO 80920 Customer's Name: Deborah Marin WHAT IS YOUR COMPLAINT?Name of mass media invention promoter advertised in: TV Invention promotion services offered to be performed: Take my invention from idea to production Explanation of complaint between customer and invention promoter: Promoter requested $700.00 (up front) for a patent search. I paid the $700.00 and explained to the rep. that I was not able to pay any additional money. I was assured that was not a problem. A second phone call told me things were progressing "amazing fast". Again I explained that I had no additional money for this project and again I was assured that would be no problem. They would just increase the percentage due them for future royalties. I then received documents from the Co. requesting additional money and four choices for accomplishing this. I became suspicious and sent them no more money. If only I had researched this Co. more thoroughly. How are they allowed to stay in business??? Signed: /s/Deborah Marin Date: November 25, 2005 |
