WHAT IS YOUR COMPLAINT?

Name of mass media invention promoter advertised in: TV ad

Invention promotion services offered to be performed: Evaluation of idea leading to a patent to market the product

Explanation of complaint between customer and invention promoter: Under the provisions of the American Inventors Protection Act of 1999 I was not given in writing the mandated information about the company. For monies paid to Advent ($12,325.00) up front, I only have a nicely bound book personalized to inform me my idea was patentable and marketable. Once I realized I was chasing "fool's gold" I ordered Mr. Ingarra, president of Advent, to stop all effort on my behalf. I had chosen to abandon the idea. He was to invoice only what was done upon receipt of my letter of 9-9-2004 and return unused monies. No response. Certified mail and phone calls. Copies of mail sent to Attorney Gen, Penna and USPTO, also FTC.
