USAPat Subscriber Notice

A printing problem has just been identified with the USAPat issue for Week 26, disc USP2001W26. This problem only affects patent images from the older USAPat CD-ROM discs issued from 1994 to 1999.

To correct this problem follow these steps:

  1. Uninstall USP2001W26 to completely remove all program files.
  2. Perform a complete install from USP2001W25 to use that older program file.
  3. Install disc USP2001W26 using the update - not install - function. A message box will appear telling you that "a new version of DocDW is available, do you wish to install it?" Click the NO button. This will install the most recent cumulative index and leave the older program file that you installed from the Week 25 disc.

This problem will be resolved with disc USP2001W29. Each week until the Week 29 disc is received you should use the update function to install the new cumulative index and select NO to installing the new DocDW program file. Once USP2001W29 is received you should perform the usual complete install.

We regret any inconvenience this may cause you. Please contact us if you have any questions about this procedure.
