Trademarks BIB Subscriber Notice
December 2004 Issue
We are pleased to provide you with the test copy of the upcoming two-disc
set of Trademarks BIB. Trademarks BIB:Live contains active, registered US
trademarks and pending trademark applications. Trademarks BIB:ACE contains
abandoned trademark applications and cancelled and expired US trademarks.
If you have two DVD-ROM drives:
1) Insert Trademarks BIB:Live in the top drive* and install using setup.exe
accepting all defaults
2) Insert Trademarks BIB:ACE in the lower drive* and install using setup.exe
accepting all defaults
3) The Cassis2 interface should display one Trademarks BIB icon under the
Main button in the left sidebar
*The discs must always be inserted in the same drives in order for the discs
to work properly.
If you wish to install the data to your hard drive:
1) Copy the disc to two directories in your hard drive. We suggest that you
use Live and ACE. You will need approximately 14 GB of free space for this
option
2) Install Trademarks BIB:Live using setup.exe accepting all defaults
3) Install Trademarks BIB:ACE using setup.exe accepting all defaults
4) The Cassis2 interface should display one Trademarks BIB icon under the
Main button in the left sidebar.
If you have one DVD-ROM drive:
1) Insert Trademarks BIB:Live in the drive and install using setuptwo.exe
accepting all defaults
2) Remove Trademarks BIB:Live and insert Trademarks BIB:ACE in the drive
3) Install using setup.exe accepting all defaults
4) The Cassis2 interface should display a Trademarks BIB button with two Trademarks
BIB icons in the left sidebar
You will be able to search the two discs simultaneously if you have two DVD-ROM
drives or you installed the data to your hard drive. You must search the two
discs separately if you have one DVD-ROM drive. In order to save reentering
the same search on both discs, you can save the first search using the Search
History feature and then rerun the search on the second disc.
If the discs do not function in the expected manner or you have questions
or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us by phone or e-mail.
