Trademarks BIB Subscriber Notice

December 2004 Issue

As we informed you with the October 2004 issue, Trademarks BIB has grown too large to fit on one dual-layer DVD-ROM disc. Our short-term resolution to free up space was to remove a number of specialized field search indexes, which occurred with the October 2004 issue. Our proposed long-term resolution was to split the Trademarks BIB product into a two-disc set. One disc, Trademarks BIB:Live, will contain registered and pending trademarks and the other disc, Trademarks BIB:ACE, will contain dead marks (abandoned, cancelled, and expired).

Trademarks BIB will split with the next issue – February 2005. In the next few weeks, you will receive a two-disc test copy of the December 2004 issue for you to install and test its functions. You will receive installation instructions with the test copy when it is distributed.
