Subject:  Drill-Down Reports Contained in Compressed Files Having a ".zip" File Extension



The compressed ".zip" files in this FTP directory, 

ftp://ftp.uspto.gov/pub/taf/misc/drill_dn/YYYY, where YYYY is the most recent year reported,

contain drill down report sets in archive compressed
files. Each full set of reports is contained in 
a single compressed ".zip" file as described, below.
The files contained in a single compressed ".zip" file 
can be copied to an empty directory on a PC. The files
then can be accessed by using a web browser to open the file
named "regions.htm" within the directory.


A free program for extracting the report files from the 
archive compressed ".zip" files is available by following
the links at the following USPTO Internet page:
