The following problems/changes to Application Red Book have been identified. These changes do not impact the Patent Application V1.5 2001-01-31 DTD:

• Underlined text within tables were inadvertently stripped from Application Red Book. The problem has been corrected and schedules are being established to reprocess all issues from 03/15/2001.
  
  
• Application Red Book paragraph numbering will be modified to conform to the specifications defined for Yellow Book. Paragraph numbers are to consistently display 4 digits with leading zeroes and enclosed in square brackets. Paragraph numbers greater than 9999 will be displayed as is without padding.
  
  
• The proposed change to make element classification-ipc-primary optional will not be implemented.
