It may contain the complete text an individual invention claim, or comprise a fragment the sentence that constitutes the claim.

The recursive nature the claim-text model enables the equivalent the Grant Red Book's "Claim Step" feature within Application Red Book. Although each claim must consist of a single sentence, the sentence structure can be partitioned into lists and sub-groups.
