The patent assignment DTD and example is provided as used within the EFS electronic Packaging and Validation Engine (ePAVE), and is documented within the EFS Submission User Manual (http://www.uspto.gov/ebc/efs/downloads/documents.htm).

Although the following elements are included within the DTD, they are reserved for future use: reel-nr, frame-nr, fee-information, domestic-rep, state-country-code, domestic-rep-attached, and properties.
